چکیده
The liquid Argon TPC (LArTPC) technology is used in DUNE, the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, to achieve its goals as leading-edge international experiment for neutrino science and proton decay studies. first 10 k-ton DUNE far detector module will employ wired-based anode planes with cold readout electronics (CE) installed inside cryostat. CE developed cryogenic temperatures (77-89K) operation an optimal solution that achieves excellent noise performance decouples electrode cryostat design from design. This paper reviews experience of ProtoDUNE single-phase located at CERN Platform provides overview progress development, including recent results system integration tests involving characterization new versions ASICs front-end motherboards mounted on small scale immersed liquids.

A Demonstration of Light Guides for Light Detection in Liquid Argon TPCs
Liquid Argon (LAr) Time Projection Chambers (TPCs) are a developing technology that is becoming a popular choice for neutrino and dark matter experiments due to the low cost of the LAr as a target material and the high signal efficiency and background rejection that these detectors can achieve. When excited by a passing charged particle created in a neutrino interaction, argon produces scintill...

متن کاملLifetime Test for Optical Transmitters in the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter Readout System
Accelerated lifetime test has been carried out for 147 days on the custom-made optical transmitters used in the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter front-end electronics readout system. The lifetime of these optical transmitters is estimated to be greater than 200 years and exceeds the design goal for the LHC. The random failure rate has been estimated at 9.6×10 per hour at 90% confidence level.
متن کاملPerformance of the Electronics for the Liquid Argon Calorimeter System of the Slc Large Detector*
Results of performance tests on electronics for the Liquid Arg_on Calorimeter (LAC) for the SLD experiment at SLAC are presented. The behavior of a sub-unit called a “tophat,” which processes 720 detector signals, is described. The electronics consists of charge sensitive preamplifiers, analog memories, A/D converters, and associated control and readout circuitry. An internal charge injection s...
متن کاملCMS Calorimeter Trigger/Readout Electronics for SLHC
The SLHC will be a very challenging environment for physics and for the trigger and DAQ in particular. Expected pileup multiplicies on the level of 40-200 interactions every beam crossing will flood the detector with the “ambient noise” of many low pT particles. The impact of these low pT particles is particular large for the hadron calorimeter, which has a relatively large cell size (compared ...
